Assignment #1

In class we were asked to produce two images consisting on only Black and White Spheres. The First Image was intended to bring the viewer through the image from upper right to the lower left. This effect was produced by gradually increasing the size of the spheres as they moved from the upper right of the image, to the lower left, allowing you to conclude that the ojects were getting closer. While the other image is designed to have the viewers eyes follow the form of the spheres into the center of the image then back out. This effect was produced by using non-symmetric patterns that spiraled from larger to smaller spheres meeting in the center. I believe both images were successful, but could be worked on to be more so. The rate on increase is not sequential enough in the upper image, and in the lower image the space is slightly void between the patterned areas, this can lead to some confusion on where the eye should be going next.
